I've wound up reading a lot of non-fiction about the Cold War and arms race lately.

And at the same time, I was reading "The Feud that Sparked the Renaissance" about Brunelleschi and Ghiberti.

It occurred to me while I was reading it that I'd like to see a candidate for public office submit a statement for the voter's pamphlet that includes a defense department program to develop the world's most powerful poem.
