So fresh mozzarella. It's really good. The problem with fresh mozzarella? It's needs to stay moist - which is why when you buy it at DeLaurenti they give it to you in the watery stuff. But if you do let it dry out - even in just one small place - it's about the grossest taste on earth. I nearly threw up.

Yeah, I'm down to condiments in my fridge again. I feel like such a horrible cliche - the one about the youngish male who has no actual food. But here's the thing: getting actual food has become such a chore lately. My parents have such a better selection of food. I have no idea how they do it, with all the great entertainment options available on TV.

I've seen things written about the relationships young consultants have with clients. The truth is, most clients I've come in contact with aren't terribly surprised or bothered that an unhealthy dorky looking young person can do programming. Going out of town for a few days to a client site. This was kind of a "Let's bring him along" situation and I really have no clue what's happening. I assume we'll meet with some people and I'll dutifully take notes and my boss will say "K, you go that?" On this project my boss wants me to use this technique from matrix/linear algebra - a class I attended with no real regularity and, when I did, I typically did the crossword puzzle (I feel kind of lucky he's not asking me to solve differential equations on a blackboard or something I'm even worse at like writing about history). So in conclusion I'm relearning this stuff for the first time.

I like it when check is spelled "cheque".
