One of the things I was laughing maniacally about on my way into work today was non-sensical youth-centric optimism and bravado. I'm mostly thinking of when people say "We're changing the world!", but ESPECIALLY when this is said in regards to:
-hip-hop music
-environmentally friendly things, such as recycling
-radio stations
-making your own things instead of buying them
-poetry

I was trying to figure out what kind of book I - as an American who hates to read - should write, to capture my piece of the speculative literary bubble. I believe the answer is "magazines."
