First you should consider your view of everyone in the world aged 12-24. Do they appeal to you or do you have a dim view of them?
If they appeal to you, move on. If you have a dim view of them, congratulations for having accepted reality into your heart. Your life will be filled with people calling you cynical and angry, but those people are wrong and will invariably die disappointed and full of unmet dreams and wishes.
Now you should consider if teens appeal to you because you have incorrect views of them? For example, do you like them because they have innocent hearts and eager minds, swallowing up the world in a Dead Poets Society sort of way? If so, get the fuck away from the computer and run until you pass out. If you like them because you think the way they exhibit themselves is cute, you find the "audience" they believe is watching them to be an interesting personality quirk and you PREFER to live in a post-literate world of images and hyper-realities that would make Baudrillard lose his stool, then pull back the curtain. What you'll find is basically a wasteland in which circa 1996 web design is getting pounded into submission by people whose irony, taste and shame glands are all underdeveloped. Really underdeveloped. Also, there's a lot of pictures people take of themselves and this is a phenomenon that you'll think about for a few weeks, making your skin crawl.
