There's a girl at work who very consistently wears shoes that are just the absolute best, but there really isn't a way to tell her this. I suppose there is, but such an act would probably alienate whatever support I have in the vast male population and may draw attention to my shoes, which I stopped caring about.

-Inadvertently solves the Social Security crisis. Thank you makers and marketers of sugary things!
-Unfit athletes. You might find it easier to win a gold medal or secure a lucrative professional sports contract, since apparently there will be a generation of fat people who won't be able to do such things.
-Changing nature of who and what is sexualized. People will begin looking toward svelte older folks as sexual icons. Again, you might find work as a model or an actor in adult cinema.
-Innovative solutions coming from the after-life industry. With an accelerating death rate, I think it will be a time of unprecedented creativity in this space.
-Fashion. I predict that it will become popular to look like a well-fed industrialist - 3 piece suit, top hat, watch fob, etc. Well positioned fashion designers and clothing retailers can capitalize on this.
-Certain things that are only made for the so-called "fit" people will need to be re-formatted for a slighty more zaftig population. These include: space suits, fighter plane cockpits, Formula 1 race cars, heating duct escape routes, trampoline sports, ladders. Just find some small, narrow spaces or things that have a maximum weight suggestion and there's your profit center.
