I'm working on a choose your adventure book where the adventure is my job. It's different in that it doesn't matter what you choose, the book never ends. Everything just winds up repeating itself. The book never ends. You drift in and out of bouts with chronic absenteeism, ambition, hope, etc - it just doesn't matter in the end. You wind up back at your desk reading about Sisyphus on Wikipedia.
