When can you get concerned about the declining creative output of Hollywood? When a 5 DVD special collector's edition of "Encino Man" is released. This is what it would have:
-Interactive walking tours of the filming locations
-Interviews with real-life unfrozen neanderthals
-Discussions/commentary with a panel of experts: archaeology, film studies, English literature, anthropology, youth culture, etc.
-Cast reunion where they discuss the good times on the set, the meaning of the film, and its place in the Western canon
-A subscription to my bi-monthly Encino Man newsletter
-A script for the un-released Encino Man 2 film and Encino Man TV show pilot.
-A few discs containing all of the film footage that was shot but never made it to the final cut.
Also, I imagine we'd start seeing special "Where's Waldo?" version of films, that CGI in a character into the background of a back-catalog of movies
