When I go to get groceries I'll see kids studying at Starbucks. Ultimately, studying is an activity that requires either a table and chairs or maybe a floor to lay down on. But you can get this for free or at least at a lower cost elsewhere. I'm starting to wonder if you could open up a coffee shop near a campus that does not sell coffee or baked goods, but just rents tables and chairs.
This is something I've been thinking about lately: if we can only hear stuff from 20-20,000 Hz, but stuff is obviously outside of that range, and we can only see stuff in the visible spectrum, but there's ultraviolet and infrared light and everything else - what about smell and taste? What do things that taste like nothing actually taste like? What would it be like to smell like a dog?
