London City Airport: "you should check-in with hand luggage at least 20 minutes before your flight is due to depart"
In the US: "The recommended arrival time at the airport prior to departure is 75 minutes for travel within the U.S."
The people arguing outside my window have used the f-word as an adjective, adverb, verb, and noun.
Looking at Christmas vacations in a place that does not celebrate Christmas - for personal reasons, and practical. I'd like some stuff to actually be open. Not like London - a city of like 7.5 million people and it seems like none of them will work past 6pm.
Another pet-peeve about London is that residential real estate agents maintain these horrible street-level offices, which create really depressing and non-vibrant streets. Depressing because is there really no better use of that space than to hang photos of absurdly expensive apartments? Non-vibrant because the street is like: real estate, real estate, overpriced restaurant, real estate, mini mart, real estate. My conclusion: THERE IS SOMETHING DEEPLY WRONG WITH YOUR REAL ESTATE MARKET IF SO MANY PEOPLE AND SO MUCH HIGH VALUE RETAIL SPACE IS BEING DEVOTED TO THIS CRAP.
