The shift key I use most on my laptop broke, so it is difficult to capitalize letters right now.

My parents get Showtime and, for whatever reason, Showtime seems to frequently show movies in which the characters feel that making a pornographic film is reasonable option for making money quickly. Three of them:
-Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008) - The total amount of money is never discussed, but their ambitions seemed quite modest - covering the rent, some bills, and paying their actors.
-The Amateurs (2005), alternately "The Moguls"
-National Lampoon's Barely Legal, (2003), alternately "After School Special"

I think that the thing to take away from these movies is that there is always a better way of making money than investing in the production, editing, and distribution of an adult film. Especially if you have no experience in film making or distribution.

There are probably some other older movies, but with the great decline of the legacy pornography industry, precipitated by the financial crisis, I doubt that we will see too many more of these kind of films. That is all.
