There's a guy I know who signs up for all kinds of marathons and fun-runs and dirty dashes, but he never does them. He never trains for them. A week or two before the event, he'll post something on Facebook that says he has a bib available for free, because "something came up." The only thing that comes up is that getting stoned and sitting around his house is more fun than training for these things.
