There's this sort of sticky, humid unhappiness that comes from seeing other people succeed. I don't care if you like these people or not - it really begins to suck after a while.

I'm not just talking about the kind of unahppiness that comes from watching Inside the Actors' Studio with James Lipton. It's not just seeing people talk about the finer moments and successes in a series of bland questions and having their ego stroked. It comes from actually witnessing these moments of success and having your face pressed into it. You have no choice but to notice the present failure of karma and market-based economies with resepect to this horrible lack of balance in the universe.

But don't be mistaken - Kid Tetris is still very much the frozen lunchbox full of pure weapons grade toxic cynicism you've always known him to be. It's just that maybe he'd like to have some of his own success. Maybe he doesn't want to be a callous jerkface all the time. Maybe he wants some toys that aren't broken. Just some working, fully functional toys. Good toys made of high-quality materials that he isn't allergic to.

And maybe he'd like to be able to express his thoughts without having to resort to the reckless mixing of metaphors.
