The way some people talk about travel is absolutely hilarious. When you overhear someone talking about about New York or far flung place, listen really closely - they talk like they are the first person to ever go to the place and are reporting on how safe it is to trade with the Indians. For example, last week it was a woman who said, "I found the people [New Yorkers] to be very nice. Even helpful." And this morning a woman was talking about Finland like it's the moon and didn't seem to have a handle on modern air travel, since she remarked that flights to Finland are "kind of long" but they serve you "a meal" and also have "wine." In-flight dining? That's crazy! In response to Finland's wacky travel, another woman remarked that Anchorage, Alaska has a 4 star hotel. AND ROOM SERVICE! What-a-country!
