TV show pitch: "My So-Called Nuclear Option"
Premise: Teenage drama. Sullen 16 year old girl deals with school, boys, parents and possessing a nuclear weapon. Whenever she got mad, there would be a trademark shot that rushes into her head, then into her house, up the stairs, into her room and into her closet where there's a nuclear warhead sitting next to a stack of Seventeen magazines and piles of shoes. The show's final episode would, without a doubt, be the best episode in the history of television - when she finally uses on a boy who spurns her - whilst destroying the rest of her town in the process.

Like every television show, this show would just basically be a ripoff of another show. It's too obvious to make it about "My So-Called Life", so it would be "Dawson's Creek." The difference is that the main character would be Joey and, of course, the nuclear weapon. She'd laugh, love, be a teenager and eventually let Dawson in on her so-called nuclear option. I would basically re-write the entire show to make it how I think it should be. For example, Pacey would get drunk one night after taking liberties with a housewife and he would run over Jen with a speedboat in the dark. Everyone would just assume that she ran away and no one would really be bothered by it.

It would chronicle her graduating from high school and trying to figure out how she's going to get her warhead out of her house and into her dorm room. What if the RA finds it? How would she explain it? What happens when she studies abroad? The warhead would be like her journal - she'd kind of talk to it and the audience would come to understand what her 'nuclear option' really meant to her. I would try to get Jewel to write an annoying, whiney acoustic guitar song about it.
