Really strange thing: Real Simple magazine - "life made easier". THIS ENTIRE MAGAZINE IS ABOUT BUYING STUFF. How is that "life made easier"? To me, a magazine about making life easier would be providing examples of how you can get rid of useless stuff and stuff you don't need to do - i.e. making life simpler. Like gifts. Stop it. Who needs $40 worth of overpriced sausage? The magazine isn't about simplicity - it's about consumption and, as far I can tell, it's all the kind other people are supposed to notice. It's basically the Robb Report for middle-income women aged 30-40. It's pretty sad that 'simplicity' as a concept is abused like that. I could start a magazine called "Absolute Necessities" and fill it with things like personal bullet trains, death rays, space shuttles, supercolliders, religious idols, and freakish chimeric pet animals that can only be legally produced in North Korea.
