Nick Lachey held an event nearby recently and I was thinking about how awesome it would be if Jessica Simpson's supporters - the Jessica Simpson Liberation Front - showed up to protest or fight. And Nick Lachey's supporters - the Nick Lachey Revolutionary Army - defended their leader. I'm not saying that I am hoping that people kill each other, I'm just saying that if people show up in gas masks and bandoliers, I wouldn't complain. I also think on the most basic level, that if you really support your celebrity, you should be willing to show up to rival celebrity's events and protest them - carry signs that say things like "Nick Lachey = glue sniffer". Otherwise, it's like - how committed are you to the relationship you have to your celebrity? Anybody can buy all of the Us Weeklies and cut out their picture and make a scrapbook or whatever. You need to distinguish yourself.
