The Great Unwanted. There's some thread that ties together the 1960s, the 1980s and this kind of stuff - both musically and the similarity in the dance movements that the singers are doing - I like it. Example: Dusty Springfield, The Go-Gos/Belinda Carlisle, and Noisettes.
Sailing yesterday after work was pretty good. Great wind, but the currents and waves were unbelievably fast - at points it was like sailing through oatmeal. We were heeling over a lot - like 25 degrees, gunnels in the water, crap falling out of the boat - so it was about as much fun as you can ask for. I think today was a good confirmation that we are becoming better sailors and probably need to find a faster, lighter, more responsive, more nimble boat.
